Herbert - Clelland

A pretty wedding too place at the church of St. John the Evangelist at Dawson, Osgoode, on Wednesday morning when Mr. Thomas Herbert, a well known resident of Osgoode, and Miss Minnie Clelland, daughter of Mr. Hugh Clelland. farmer and grain merchant of Osgoode Station, were united in matrimony.

The officiating clergyman was Rev. Father McCauley, the parish priest. The beat man was Mr. Patrick Herbert. cousin of the groom, and Miss Ethel Buckles, of Osgoode Station, cousin of the bride, was bridesmaid. A large number of relatives and friends of the bride and bridegroom were present. The wedding march was played by Miss Day, teacher at Herberts school.    Afterwards dinner was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Clelland.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert left for Montreal on the afternoon train on a honeymoon trip, followed by the well wishes of many friends. They will return Monday when a reception is to be tendered them at the home of Mr. Herbert.
