A marriage of interest to many Ottawans was solemnized in St. John's Church, Osgoode, on Tuesday, Sept. 5, when Miss Elisabeth A., third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Dewan was wedded to Mr. Thomas J., eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip MeEvoy.
Rev. Father McCauley performed the ceremony and celebrated the nuptial mass.
The bride, charmingly attired in a gown of steel grey and wearing the gift of the bridegroom, a locket set with a diamond, was attended by her cousin. Miss Kate M. Whelan, Ottawa, while Mr. Arthur Kelly, Bray’s Crossing, supported the groom.
Of the pretty June weddings none wee more attractive than that solemnized on Tuesday morning, June 22, in St. John's Church, Osgoode, by Rev. Father Gorman, of May Shields, Osgoode, to Mr. Patrick J. McGahey, of Mountain.
The attendants were Miss Ida Shields, sister of the bride, and Mr. Anthony McGahey, of Kemptville. Miss Kathleen Doyle, of Ottawa, rendered the nuptial music.
Following a reception at the home of the bride's mother, Mr. and Mrs. McGahey left for Toronto and Niagara. On their return they will reside at Mountain.

A very pretty wedding took place this morning at 9.30 in St. John’s Church, Osgoode, on the Prescott Road, when Mr. Thomas Cardo, engineer of the American Bank Note Company of this city, was united in marriage to Miss Margaret M. Blanchfield, daughter of the late Patrick Blanchfield, of Osgoode.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. Father McCauley of St. John’s, in the presence of a large number of friends of the family.
The bride wore a smart tailor-made suit of navy blue chiffon broadcloth, with hat to match.
St. John’s Church, Osgoode, was the scene of a pretty and interesting wedding ceremony on Saturday morning, when Miss Phyllis McEvoy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward McEvoy, was united in marriage to Mr. Harold Cleland, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Cleland. Rev. Father W. F. Tierney performed the ceremony in the church, which was adorned with phlox, asters and other garden flowers.

Shields, son of the late Thos. and Mrs. Shields, all of Osgoode, Rev. Father F. Corkery officiating.
On Thursday. Nov. 30, at St. John’s church, Manotick. by Rev. Father Corkery, Annie M., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Milligan Manotick, to Tim, son of Mrs. Eliza Shields, Kemptville, Ont.
A pretty wedding too place at the church of St. John the Evangelist at Dawson, Osgoode, on Wednesday morning when Mr. Thomas Herbert, a well known resident of Osgoode, and Miss Minnie Clelland, daughter of Mr. Hugh Clelland. farmer and grain merchant of Osgoode Station, were united in matrimony.

June 27, of Miss Mary Kathleen, youngest daughter of Mr. William Kelly, to Mr. Patrick Shields, son of Mrs. Thomas Shields, all of Osgoode. Rev. Father Corkery performed the ceremony. The wedding music was played by Mrs. Andrew Kelly.

Father McCauley, the parish priest, performed the ceremony. Thomas Jordan, brother of the bride, was best man. and Miss Annie Burns, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid.
