The funeral of the late Mr. P. Blanchfield, an old resident of the Prescott road in Osgoode township, took place Sunday afternoon. Over a hundred carriages were in the cortege. Service was conducted in St. John’s church by Rev. Father McAuley, P. P. The pall bearers were Messrs. Moses Doyle, James Herbert, P. McCarthy, John Blanchfield, M. O’Brien and John Tierney.
